The Art of Innovative Discovery: inbetween Lost and Found
Many seek a new path to the waterfall.
This path usually lies hidden within the current mantra of things. Weariness
sets in causing gloom and depression and many wonder how they can make things
turn out for the better. It may be more sales, more finances, a better job, new
prospects or opportunities. Whatever the case may be most often it is a feeling
of being in between lost and found. That unpleasant feeling in the gut acts as
a heavy fog and dampens the path ahead and deprive it of hope.
Entrepreneurs take a step forward in
their entrepreneurial journey because they somehow feel that they have some
unique product or service to offer the market. They are exuberant at the
prospects and cannot wait to ride on the shoulders of success. But how many
take the time to contemplate the pressures and the hard work that comes along
with the package?
Most often entrepreneurs misjudge
innovation & creativity, by restricting it to identifying and setting up
the initial stage of the business. Success though is a hard nut to crack. While
'Marketing' is a crucial tool, today even in marketing with all the
developments in technology, it is easy to get buried under the load of social
media marketing. Many Start-up entrepreneurs and small businesses come to the
bitter realization that the initial exuberant vibe of product/service discovery
can easily diminish under the weight of overloaded marketing. So how can
entrepreneurs take a serious stride forward and cross this chasm that stands
between being lost and found? How can they be found and enjoy the benefits that
success offers?
The answer points to a 'Focus on being
innovative & creative'. A focus strong enough to lead the entrepreneur in
search of a new path that will become their own, one that is innovative and
leads to a discovery of the solution to the problems present. A focus that is
aimed at identifying the right solution that will get the entrepreneur from
where he or she is right now to where they want to be. Such a solution is not
concentrated on short-term gain. It is a logical, long-term, methodical and a
clear path that becomes revealed, through the unveiling of a focus-driven new
path, that leads to freedom.
Being innovative and creative requires the
entrepreneur to be focused in finding novel solutions to the challenges they
encounter. Focus also has the ability to cut away unwanted distractions and
bring into alignment the things that matter the most. Focus forces one to think
long-term rather than short term. Focus inspires one to discover a new way of doing
old things or a new way of doing new things, that breaks the status-quo. It
gives a strategic future path to the mind behind the enterprise, to the one who
fully appreciates and practises its strong impulses.
